How is Pulse different from other dashboards?
One of the key features of Pulse is that it includes statistical forecasts on a day by day or even hour by hour basis for metrics that matter to you, like sales, enquiries or bookings. Using these forecasts you can instantly see if your campaigns are having the intended effect. With Pulse we can also configure custom KPIs and targets, and we can merge data from many different sources, including from tools which already have their own dashboards.
Does Pulse increase my advertising return on investment?
While that’s not what Pulse is intended for, users often find that because Pulse brings their data together continuously in ways that were previously manual and infrequent, their team actually gleans insights that they’re able to turn into actionable advertising strategies and tactics.
How much ‘IT’ is involved?
Pulse is a marketing tool, not an IT project. It’s cloud-based (we host it for you) and engineered to be as simple to implement as it is to use. We generally only require IT’s help in automating regular reports from only a few data feeds – and often you’ll already be getting daily reports which we can use in their existing format.
What data does Pulse need?
It all depends on what you want to track. As part of scoping an implementation, we’ll uncover what data you have, where it is stored, what it will contribute and, where necessary, what’s needed to ensure it will go into Pulse.
How "live" is the data?
Pulse will always use the latest available data, but how often it updates depends on the data feed. Web traffic is usually available in seconds to minutes, whereas actual sales, bookings or enquiries are typically updated once a day.
Do we have to learn a new tool?
No. We do all the configuration of Pulse for you and once that’s done just the way you want it, most of your interaction will be simply scrolling to see different data. However, if you ever want changes, we will also do them for you.
How long does it take to get set up?
Typically we’ll have something your team will be using within a week of receiving the first credentials for your data feeds (for example sharing your Google Analytics data with us), and be more or less complete within two weeks.
Can I export data for presentations and reports?
Absolutely. Dashboard charts can be exported in PDF and image formats and the data can be saved to spreadsheet files. You can even embed charts on your intranet pages.
